Traditional fairy tale series - ShimCheong Jeon

ShimCheong is a very devoted daughter who has a blind dad. One day, she sold herself in return for 300 bags of rice which is the cost of a prayer to Buddha who will gracefully make her dad see again. The people who paid her 300 bags of rice were sailors looking for a sacrifice to the stormy seas. ShimCheong jumped into the ocean called Indangsu as a sacrifice. The king of the sea was very impressed by the devoted daughter, so he sent his delegate to save her.
